Before going to bed this past Sunday night, I realized Mo's body felt pretty warm. I told hubby and he also confirmed. So we took her temperature and it was a little high. We gave her Tylenol and hoped she would be better in the morning.
On Monday morning, she was cranky and clingy and cried about everything. I checked her temperature and it had gone down a bit so I thought she was getting better. She took a nap and I got in the shower. When I got out and felt her body for her temperature, she was warm again. I got out the thermometer and this time, her temperature read 101. I looked up a location with Pediatricians where I could do a walk in, found one and we headed out. My experience at this clinic was absolutely horrible! From the wait time to the horrible customer service and all the details in between that set me off that I do not wish to recount. They most definitely lost my business for sure and every other parent I will convince to never take their child to them. For the first time in my life, I considered leaving a not very nice online review because they were that bad!
Mo finally got to see a doctor after all the drama and when she walked in the room, I was further aggravated by the freaking booger at the tip of her nose! I was scared that it would drop on Mo. At this point, I was highly irritated. I just wanted her to tell me what was wrong with my child so I could get the heck out of there and never return. She checked Mo and the diagnosis was an ear infection. I got the prescription for her treatment and we went home. I'm currently looking for and asking around for recommendations for a good pediatric location for my Mo boo.
Mo is doing really good now and she's back to her normal playful self. Thank God!
