Picture Perfect

This time last year, I was totally in wedding mode. I was three weeks from walking down the aisle and I was getting last minute details sorted out. A lot was in place and RSVPs were coming in slowly but surely. It was a nerve racking but very exciting time in my life, and every passing day meant a day closer to being with the man of my dreams.

Now, as much as I couldn't wait to be with this man of my dreams, he got the best of me during the planning process. I wasn't surprised though because when we dated, I knew that if we ever did walk down the aisle, planning our wedding was going to be an event on its own... Lol. My hubby is a capital letter A personality type of person and to him, February 11th 2012 was going to be his day just as much as it would be mine, which I think is fair. Hubby was involved in just about EVERY detail of our wedding. We made a joint decision on all things major; from our wedding colors, to venue locations, to vendors. He made it to 85% of vendor meeting and when he wasn't present I would catch him up and vice versa. We argued about details and at a point, we both had to remind ourselves that it was just one day and we had to keep our focus on our marriage and not so much the wedding.

Having hubby that hands on, even though it was frustrating at times, I was extremely thankful. He took care of a lot of things that I didn't have to worry about and it made the whole process less stressful  for me. It meant so much to me that he cared so much. One of the things hubby took care of that I was very thankful for was our engagement pictures. The pictures were taken by our best man, Mr. Raymond Richards. Hubby set up a date and time, he picked every location we took the pictures and had an idea for what he wanted each scene to portray. This is very typical of him though, he gives a 110% to everything he does, and that's one of the reasons why I love him so! I basically showed up to the shoot looking pretty :)

We shot at three different locations. We started out very early in the morning and didn't round up until late in the evening. Yes, it was that serious! Lol. We had so much fun with the shoot, and hubby cracked me up the entire time trying to model. It was definitely one of our memorable moments.
