I was born in Nigeria and raised there for 13 years of my life, of which I carry with me some of the fondest memories. Regardless of how long I've been in the States and how long I will remain here, I am a true Nigerian gal all day long! I recognize my roots, I love my roots and I pray I can raise my children to recognize and appreciate it as well. Today marks 53 years of independence for Nigeria.

Also, hubby started working at Walmart exactly one year ago today. I can't believe he has lasted in Bentonville that long. Lol. Words can't express how proud I am of him. He is learning and growing so much in his career and I pray that God continues to grant him his heart desires and favor him in everything that concerns him. Congrats babe!
