Our Student Of The Month

We just got back from a wonderful family vacation! It was so much fun and it felt so good to see the kids get excited over things that we as adults wouldn't even pay much attention to. I will be sharing some photos this week but right now, this post is about something amazing that happened right before vaca!

On March 2nd, I was sitting on the sofa with the kids and watching TV right before bedtime. Hubby was in the kitchen doing some work on his computer. He asked me if I had checked my email recently and I said no, and asked why. He told me to check and find out but not to say anything. I got very curious, so I reached for my phone and saw this!

I was so excited I screamed. MoMo and Demi looked at me with wide grins on their faces. I immediately got on Whatsapp and alerted the rest of the family. Lol!

Since we couldn't let the cat out of the bag, I just kept letting her know how proud I was of her. Also, knowing how shy baby girl gets, I wanted to make sure she would act right when called at the assembly so the morning of, I kept telling her that someone would call her name at school, and when the person did, she had to get excited and run up to them. Lol!

We were all so curious about what qualified her to be student of the month and hubs and I were glad to hear at the assembly. We also got this write up which I will be framing along with her certificate.

This is currently in the hallway at school..

MoMo also got a gift certificate to her favorite place to eat.. Chick-Fil-A!

We promised her a trip to ChuckECheese which we are yet to make good on. Hubs what's good?
