This past weekend, I flew out to Atlanta for my older sister's bridal shower. She will be getting married this June. Whoop Whoop!! It was a very fun and exciting moment and I really hope she felt special and enjoyed every second of it. This weekend left me more excited and so ready for the big day. Can't wait! The shower was held at my parent's home and the theme for the shower was "tea party", which I think turned out lovely. Here are some a lot of photos... Lol
The first the thing that greeted the guest in the foyer was a picture of Juliet and her hubby to be Bank...
On the Island in the kitchen, we set up the drinks and some very yummy treats. There were sliced apples, cheese squares, shortbread cookies and some delicious pastries!

Lemonade with cut up strawberries and sweet tea with cut up oranges.

These were so delicious!

On the breakfast table, there was more to dig into...

Cakes, Donuts, sweet rolls and salad...
|
 |
Red velvet donuts? You can't beat that! Btw.. peep the tea pots :)

 |
White roses. They were the perfect accent. |
The main course...
So I didn't get a chance to capture this before everyone dug in but I'm glad that my sister took some pictures. We went for a southern theme with the meal selections, in-line with the tea party. We had some Mac and Cheese my sister made, we ordered collard greens, potato salad, sweet potato souffle, and banana pudding from "MaryMacs", one of Atlanta's historical restaurants. It was all delicious! We had fried crispy chicken of course! What's the South without fried chicken?! Lol. We also had fruit and veggie trays and bread rolls. Can you say yum?!
The Cake...

I love the bag hanging out of the pot.

Need I say more? I think it was gorgeous and it totally captured the theme beautifully! |

The happy Bride-to-be!
The Games...
We actually only played three games in all. After the initial icebreaker where we found out how long the guest had known Juliet and where they met her, the first game we played was "How well do you know the bride" to find out those who really knew her. For the second game, we put the bride in the hot seat and found out how well she knew her groom to be. Lastly we played wedding trivia, a fun multiple choice game with some questions like "what percentage of men get on their knees to propose?" Wouldn't you like to know?! Ha!

I think she had a good time :)

Juliet and her bridesmaids excluding Phoebe. I just want to take a moment to really appreciate all these ladies including Phoebe. Phoebe actually showed up to help set up but she couldn't stay for the shower. She just gave birth to her beautiful daughter less than two weeks ago. I really couldn't have done any of this on my own without them. I really can't put into words how grateful I am for the role they individually played. I can only do so much as a human, so my prayer is that the God of the Universe will bless each of you according to His riches in Glory. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I mean that! |

The sisters! Of course we had to take a pic. We always do at every occasion. Lol. Our oldest sister Collette couldn't make it as much as she would have loved to. I am very grateful to her and Harriet(sitting next to Juliet) for all that they did. Harriet did an excellent job bringing our ideas to life. May God deeply bless you both. THANK YOU!! |

For favors, we gave assorted tea, and packaged them in this see through party bags. |
Once again, I'm so thankful to everyone that honored Juliet with their presence, gifts, and continued prayers. THANK YOU!!!
