Save Me!

My name is Lauret Odesanya, and I'm addicted to Caprisun!

It is pretty bad. I'm not sure when it started but I just know I love them so much. I claim that I buy it for Morayo, but honestly, out of a pack of ten, I probably drink 6 and Mo gets 4. They're just so good and sometimes, I have them back to back. It doesn't help that it's so cheap too! I get them at Sam's Club (no advertising intended... Lol) for a little over 4 bucks. It comes in 4 boxes, with 10 in each box for a total of 40! Sometimes, I drink it as soon as I'm taking it out of  the box. I like it cold sometimes and every now and then, I put it in the freezer for a little while to get a slushy effect. Ha! When we go out to parties and the adults have soda with them, I notice usually that I'm the only adult with a caprisun. And yes! I go back for seconds, thirds... Lol

Morayo also loves them too. As a matter of fact, this is one of the things she may not share with you, and Morayo LOVES to share. Anytime she sees me with one, she starts crying for one too. I try to hide sometimes so she won't see  me and I can really enjoy it especially when I know she has already had one that day. Last week, I was in the kitchen having one and I heard her footsteps running towards the kitchen and I ducked so quickly. I mean I LITERALLY ducked! Really Lauret? I had to ask myself...  Shameful much? Lol. If I'm drinking one and she wants it, I hand it to her but she starts crying when she finishes it, I mean unfailingly. It's like she notices her ration was shortened! I used to sip some out of it when I open it for her and say "uhmm yummy!". At first, she was cool with that, but that is a no no now. She gets upset when I sip it. I use them sometimes as her reward for finishing her food. When I tell her she's going to get a surprise when she finishes her food, she gets so happy because she knows what's coming.

I'm really trying hard to cut down how much I drink though, because I know it's a lot of sugar intake, even for Mo. I just don't know what it is, because if I was looking for something sweet, we always have juice but I never drink it. You know what? I blame it on my parents! Maybe I was deprived of this goodness growing up! Yeah.. that has to be it! Lol!!

Anyways... There are some changes going on over here. Will be updating soon. We got over the hump, tomorrow is Thursday. The weekend is almost here! Woohoo!!!
