Breaking The News About Pregnancy #2

And just like that, we're in May! This year is already moving by really fast and I can't can believe it. I haven't blogged in a while because I just have so much going on. Please excuse me while I find a balance.. Lol

I wanted to share the story behind my "Exciting News!" post. After getting married, hubby and I decided that we would try for another baby before MoMo turned one. We wanted a little over a year difference between our first and second babies. The plan was to have the second baby the following August after MoMo was born. Hubby wanted a birthday mate really bad. In his mind, things would work out to where the baby would be born right on his birthday. Ha! Well it's evident that God answered our prayers! I got pregnant in the time frame we planned and we're going to have our August baby but unfortunately for hubby, definitely not on his birthday. Not even close... Lol. It really is amazing though that it worked out!

I found out that I was expecting in November last year. Considering I have a nosy hubby, he picked up on it before I could surprise him. I didn't give him any definite answer though until I took the pregnancy test when I visited him in Arkansas. When I told him, he was very excited of course but he asked why I didn't wait to take the test when he was with me. He was with me for the first one so I guess he wanted to be present for the second one :)

Hubby wanted us to wait until the Christmas holiday before we broke the news to our families. So, I went back to Georgia with my great news that I had to keep secret! Luckily for me, there was no morning sickness issues, so my secret was safe with me. I was kinda happy holding the news because I was nervous about telling my family. What? Why? I know, I know. I really didn't discuss our plans to have our children back to back with anyone, so I knew it would come as a shock to them. I wasn't sure about their reaction, so there I was married and still worried about breaking such wonderful news! Crazy right?

We told our family members on Christmas day. Everyone was excited for us and boy was I relieved to get it out! Lol!
