Onward and Upward!

It has been a long while...

I have not put up a post for some time now. I was going to a couple of weeks ago but things got really busy at work and just kinda slowed down.

Speaking of work, I am no longer at Walmart. I got a new job as a Business Development Manager with Dr Pepper Snapple Group and I really love my new job! I started with DPSG the beginning of the year. I still work in close relation with Walmart though as we are their suppliers. I am really enjoying Merchandising/Retail and look forward to growing my career in that direction.

Two weekends ago my sis ran her very first half marathon race in Washington D.C! However, prior to two weekends ago she really just began running last year. I am very proud of her because I personally didn't think she would last as long as she has, so major kudos RiRi!! She has been trying to recruit but mehn... I don't know bout all dat!

Also two weekends ago on the same day my sis ran her race, my friend had a dedication for her daycare Mustard Seed Children's Academy! Hubby, I, and the kids were all present along with our church family as we committed the building to the Lord. I've mentioned Moji on here a couple of times and if you follow my blog, I had a post about her daughter's first birthday party early last year. I am really proud of Moji and admire her tenacity and persistence. I literally watched this project go from her dream to reality right before my eyes and trust me when I say it was A LOT of work and still is. I'll put up a post about it soon with more pictures. It's beautiful!

I took some pictures of the kids this morning and posted a combined one of the two of them to Instagram. Here are some more shots!

Special shout out to my baby sis! I was at work today and got this...

We'll see about that promise. Hope you had a Happy Monday!

Snow!

We got some snow in Northwest Arkansas over the weekend. Not much was going on outdoors, however,  instead of sit inside the house all day long and let the kids really drive me crazy, we went out to catch some fun!
