Fun At The Park!

I feel so out of my element with blogging because I haven't been consistent. Trying to get back up to speed because I enjoy doing it. Here's a little bit into last week.

I took the kids to the park and they had a blast! Demi loved the swing and MoMo just wanted to throw rocks into the stream. They had a really good time...

Demilade @ 1!

I've been on a very long hiatus. Pardon me...

There has been so much going on that has pulled my attention from blogging, but I wanted to make sure to share Demi's first birthday. I thought about him being old enough to read my blog and not seeing his own post for his first birthday :( Here you go my Demi Love! 

What have you been up to?

You are a very pleasant baby. You are so easy going and you let almost everyone carry you without fussing.

You give a heck of a high-five for a one year old!

You love love to laugh and you love getting tickled.

You love dancing. pretty funny!

You are such a boy! You enjoy playing rough and being thrown up in the air.

You are very daring! You climb on top of everything climb-able. Lol. From the center table in the living room to the very high breakfast table in the kitchen. When you can't reach, you are smart enough to find something else to climb on top of so you can reach!

You answer "huh" to your name when you are called. It's so cute and funny!

You love to go out! As soon as the door leading to the garage opens, you dash for it as if you've been waiting to make your escape!

You go mmmba when I say kiss mama. Lol

You are done with formula! I stopped at exactly 1 year started you on whole milk. You love your milk! I also threw out all your feeding bottles, so you use a sippy cup. My big boy!

Btw, you stopped breastfeeding at 10months! You clearly weren't ready to stop so I had to wean you off because mama was done!

You enjoy your bath time. You love to hit the water and splash it everywhere, creating extra clean up work for mummy.

You NEVER used a pacifier!

You have eight teeth! Your sister had only two when she turned. Actually she had only one because they were both so tiny so combined would have made 1 teeth. Lol.

You wear size 4 diapers.

You wear between 12-18months clothes, and size 5 for your shoes.

You love playing with books. Good start! 

You sleep through the night in your own room! (Daddy is ecstatic about that!) This of course did not happen overnight. It took some training on my end. You go to bed at 8 PM every night and you are up as early as 5AM some mornings. (Daddy does not like that at all!)

You started walking at 11 months. So proud of you!

When you hold some thing in your hands, your grip is so strong that I honestly struggle sometimes getting you to let go!

YOU DON'T PLAY ABOUT YOUR FOOD. That is all!

You love chasing the vacuum cleaner whenever I'm using it.

You finally got your very first haircut on August 23rd, the morning of your birthday party. You went with daddy and your nana and they said you did so well! You looked so different when I first saw you, made me miss the fro for a second but I'm glad it's gone. Bath time is a lot for fun now!

You love brushing your teeth. You stay quietly while I do it for you.

You love falling asleep on your daddy's chest!

You love your big sister!!! You play together a lot and you also smack each other a lot. Lol

It's funny watching you when you are upset about something. You kneel on the floor and put your head down, like in a praying position. Lol. It's really a site...

It is such a blessing watching you grow and also seeing the differences in you and your sister. I catch myself telling you most days "Oh my gosh, you are such a boy!". Lol. We love you so so much DemDem!!!
